As of 09/25/24, we will collect email addresses and phone numbers through contact forms, membership club sign ups, gift card orders, and online orders, and we will request explicit consent before using these emails or phone numbers for marketing purposes. Emails collected without explicit consent prior to 10/1/24 may still be stored and used for transactional purposes (e.g., order confirmations), but these contacts have not provided consent for marketing communications.

This website is in compliance with SHAFT regulations regarding SMS correspondence and marketing.  As Wax Poetic Wine bar sells beer and wine, an age verification widget has been placed on the website in order to verify that users are over the age of 21 before entering the site.  Wax Poetic will only send SMS marketing to consumers who have opted into SMS marketing and have verified that they are over the age of 21 through the age verification widget or in person when opting in to SMS communication.
